2012 Lodon Olympics and Art

Nottingham artists are being invited to turn an open space into a work of art for the 2012 London Olympics.

Works entered in a nationwide competition should showcase the country's creativity by using public squares, shopping centres or hillsides as a blank canvas.

The project is being developed by the Arts Council and London 2012. Any artist or group can apply for one of 12 commissions worth up to 500,000 GBP and focus on any art form.
